This print was derived from an experience I had while hiking in Chattanooga, TN. While descending towards the base of a waterfall I walked down a steel grate staircase. When I looked back, I was met with the natural beauty of trees peeking through the negative space of the grate. This juxtaposition of industrial and natural elements drew me in and created the foundation for this print.
