This undulating repeat was inspired by the variety of wildflowers I encountered while visiting Glacier National Park and other hikes around Whitefish, Montana. I was amazed by the vastness and breath of the meadows that I passed. Everything was so great in scale, but I was still able to appreciate the unique beauty and detail of indi- vidual flowers when I walked by. I aimed to communicate these two perspectives within my pattern and make the audience feel the duality of breath and intimacy that I felt while standing amongst the flowers.
