SCREENPRINT 03

This design shows my interpretation of nostalgia through the motif of honeysuckle, a natural element that was present throughout my childhood. While it once was a clear image with distinct qualities, it is now a foggy and interrupted memory. To depict this, I printed my yardage on sheer fabric, which allows elements around the display to affect what the viewer sees. The flowers creep along in a diagonal direction, much like a vine, and are surrounded by blurred rays of light.
